Almost Halloween!!!!

James and I carved pumpkins about two weeks ago, and I forgot to put up some pictures for it! Well, we decided to get three pumpkins. My pumpkin is the spider. Jim's is the Pug dog. Sunny's is the "Vampire". We had a lot of fun doing it. My family has always carved pumpkins. We would always pick out the design and then carve them. My mom and grandma used to cook pumpkins seeds as well. James said he didn't really like them, but I wanted to make them anyways because it was tradition. Unfortunately, I lost the motivation to make them after I saw the carnage of the pumpkin guts. I was completely unmotivated to sort through all of the mess. James said that his family didn't really carve pumpkins, so he was excited to carve like we did last year.
We began to talk about how much everything has changed in one year. With me being in school and James never having a day off, we rarely have more than an hour a day to talk. We started talking about how if someone had told us last Halloween that we were going to be married, we would have laughed at them. This year had so many huge steps for us. We have really made "adult" decisions that we didn't think we were going to. We both feel that our decisions have been great, and we are very happy that we made them.
