Recent Ultrasound

This past Wednesday was my most recent ultrasound! My grandparents and James were able to go with us, which made it a fun experience. The doctor came in and said that everything was looking great. I asked him how far along that they would let me go, and he said that he would let me go all the way to 39 weeks. I asked him how far he thought I could go, and he said that the goal for me is 36 weeks because of my height. He said usually women my height are having such a hard time breathing by the 36th week that they are asking to be induced. I don't think I'd ask that early though; I want them to be able to stay in for as long as possible!

Baby A weighs 3.3 lbs, and Baby B weighs 3.5 lbs. This is the first time that Baby B has weighed more than Baby A! Unfortunately, they are still breech, so I think we're planning/accepting that I'm going to need a C-section. They currently have both of their heads side by side underneath my left rib. I'm starting to definitely not be able to sleep well. I also notice that I can't sit anywhere for too long because I need to move around. We're praying that the girls can stay in for a little over a month. So far the doctor seems pretty pleased with how everything is going!

Baby Shower!

On February 4 we had our Baby Shower for the twins! We had a lot of fun, and we received a lot of the essential stuff that we need for our girls! We were given a lot of stuff that helped us relax a little bit about getting prepared for the girls because James and I have noticed that I am becoming quite tired whenever we go shopping for any length of time. We're excited to meet our girls, and receiving all of the little girl stuff made me very excited!!! Everything was perfect, and it was great to see everybody!
