Continuation

Well, I still haven't started my online classes due in 11 days. From this day forward, consider me in panic mode. If I am irritable, rude, or just plain mean...well, you get the picture. Even though I am nervous about my online classes, I have so much to be thankful for.

This past week I was able to see both sides of my grandparents; that has not happened except for at our wedding. My "Taylor" grandparents came to Muncie for a square-dancing convention. They come every year, and it is a tradition for them to take me out to dinner. I was hoping that James would be able to come along too, but he had to work. However, he agreed to come watch them square-dance with me when he got off work. We both had a lot of fun watching them, and I was very happy to be able to spend some additional time with them. My "Taylor" side has so many grandchildren that I hardly ever get to see them one-on-one. It was so nice to be able to see them. My "Johnson" grandparents came to visit me in Muncie as well. Saturday was grandma's 68th birthday, and it also happened to be family weekend at BSU. Grandpa and Grandma were able to go into Cooper Science Building (the Science building at Ball State), and they were able to see some of the simulation labs that I have worked in and will work in in the future. I even discovered that Ball State has a robotic dummy that can give birth. They even got to meet my NUR 330 instructor, and she is also the Dean of Nursing School. Grandma started talking to her about BSF because Dr. Dillard is involved with that. It was interesting to see someone talk to her like a normal person because everyone in Nursing School is a bit...intimidated by her. However, Dr. Dillard did complement my grades by saying that I was doing extremely well so far. I think grandma and grandpa really enjoyed their trip, and I did too!

James and I also drove to Indianapolis on Sunday to go to Grandma Peggy's "official" birthday party. It was so nice to see all of my family. James rarely gets to see them, so it meant a lot to me that he was able to be there. I got to see Madelynn, which was cute. Grandma is the only person right now who can sincerely make Madelynn giggle. I miss my family, and I wish I could see them more often.

A few more random updates: Jim's knee is doing a lot better. He is walking like a normal person now. Sunny is ringing her bell, but it is only when I'm home alone. It makes me look like I'm a liar, but I know she does it.lol. I got a 94% on my last exam, which gave me reason to celebrate. My exam scores in the "hardest class in nursing" are actually better th
an my exam scores last year because I'm working harder. We are extremely excited for Halloween and Thanksgiving!!!
