Halloween trick-or-treating happened on Saturday this year. I had initially assumed that it was on Sunday because that was when Indianapolis was having their trick-or-treating. James and I were both disappointed because James had to work; we were really looking forward to taking Sunny out in her costume.
Well, I wasn't planning on wearing a costume, but Kristen convinced me too. She and I both decided to go as M & Ms. I was very excited to dress up. Sunny and I even matched! We first went to First Baptist Church for the trunk-or-treating; however, we found out that the Gnaps were already on the hunt for candy, so we decided to go with them. We had a lot of fun walking Chewy and Sunny around. I was the "official" bag holder for Cole because his bag seemed to be filling up the quickest!! After the evening's festivities were over, we sat around a campfire on Royal Oak. We had a lot of fun talking; it was a nice distraction from life and school. Here is a picture of me and Sunny:
My online classes have been turned in, which is a HUGE relief for me!!!! I survived!! It seems like I always think a situation entails the end of the world, but obviously it never does. It's unfortunate that situations like those improve my prayer life. Yes, it is good that it does; however, I should constantly be searching and leaning on God for guidance to get me through anything. It always amazes me when God takes care of me. You'd think that by now I would be used to it!!! He always does, and I am always surprised at how much he loves me.
Right now I am home in Indianapolis watching my little brother; I would call him my baby brother, but he isn't a baby anymore = ( . I was even allowed to pick him up from school!! That must be saying a lot about my driving skills because I never thought that I would see this day!! Colten and I had a lot of fun playing video games and watching TV. I do have an exam on Monday, so I can't relax too much. James and I have been married for four months!! Everyone have a good week!!!!
