James: James hurt his knee on Monday pretty badly playing football with his friends. He called me to come pick him up, which was a bad sign. He has been limping all week. I called him Eyegore at the beginning of the week because he had a severe limp, which probably wasn't the wisest choice. He laughed along with me, so I didn't think that I injured his pride too much. He is now starting to walk normally. He's refusing a brace, but he still continues to state that he's in pain. I really don't know what to do because he says he's in pain, but he's refusing to really do anything to help it. Oh well. At least he's starting to get better.
Sunny: Sunny is having fun being a puppy. She loves her toys, and she also enjoys gnawing on anything she can get her mouth on. She has gotten better about not chewing on people though. She understands, "No!". However, she will bark like crazy when told no. She is starting to run to the door to go outside; it really has picked up this week. She is slowly but surely beginning to understand that she needs to go outside to potty. She knows that it's wrong to go inside the house because she will potty and then run away when she's done. I tell people that she's getting better, but when she goes over to their house, she just still goes wherever she feels the need to. Sunny enjoys sleeping in our bed. When all three of us are in the bed together, she will sleep between James and I. When it's just one of us with her, she likes to cuddle in our arms. It's almost as if she knows that one of us is missing and tries to take their place. She keeps James and I occupied. We both miss her severely when away from home; we both ask how she is when we're away. Is it sad that Sunny's paragraph is bigger than Jim's?
Holly (me): I am learning to cope with junior year nursing school. The other day my Psych teacher asked all of us what are stress level was, and I quickly replied, "It is constantly at a state of 4-5/10." My teacher looked at me like I was crazy. lol. I don't think my teacher understands that if I'm not stressed/worried, I don't get anything done. I have to be at least a little worried to get things accomplished, which is evidenced by the fact that I haven't even started my online classes. I am doing well in my classes. There are so many rumors going around about the last exam I took; it's hard to decipher the fact from the fiction. I know that I received an 84% because I went to a study session (unless if my teacher decides to throw out questions, which is part of the rumors). I also know for a fact that the highest exam score was an 88%. The average on the exam was a 74%, which is considered failing in nursing school. Twenty people have already dropped out of nursing school as a result of the first two exams. So, I'm doing well, but almost everyone else isn't. I went to Colten's 7th birthday party last weekend. It was a lot of fun, and it was nice to see all of my Taylor family. Most of them still haven't met James, and I'm sure they think that I have a "phantom" husband because they never see him. Hopefully, the upcoming holiday season will remedy that problem. I can't believe Colten is already 7!! I remember when he was just a little baby, and he would call me "Sissy Holly".
The agenda for this week proves to be a busy one.
-DO ONLINE CLASSES!!
-Carve pumpkins. We're going to get three pumpkins. Sunny is going to get a little baby one. Sunny is also going to be a lobster for Halloween. James and I are pretty excited.
-Kelly has her gall bladder surgery on Monday, so everyone should pray that that goes successfully.
I'm sure there is much more, but right now
I'm totally focused on getting the online class done.
