James is officially twenty-one! He celebrated with his friends at midnight. I think he had a lot of fun, and I was glad that Kristen went. Unfortunately, a celebration hug gone awry caused Jim's knee to give out. I think we're going to have to go to the doctor on this one because this is the second time in three months that his knee has given out. I think we're both wanting him to go because all of the knee replacements that have happened with people we know in this past few weeks!
Our Christmas morning began a little later than expected. It was my fault because I stayed up watching "The Nutcracker" on television at two o'clock in the morning. I wasn't tired then, and I hadn't seen it yet this year. Our late morning turned out to be okay because we weren't the last ones there! The gift-giving went very well this year. Everyone picked out great gifts; my mom surprised everyone by buying special ornaments for each person. Jim got an "Avatar" one, and I received a Nurse one. My grandma also got us some awesome shirts from Egypt that had our names on them in hieroglyphics. Sunny even received a present! The food was great and so was the conversation. I think everyone had a good time. As with tradition I took a nice, long nap after lunch that lasted maybe for three hours. Since Jim's family already celebrated Christmas around Thanksgiving and about half of the Muncie family was gone, James and I decided to relax and stay in Indianapolis for tonight. I'm glad we did because tomorrow we are going to the "Mayberry Cafe", which is a restaurant that is styled after the Andy Griffith Show. It is one of my FAVORITE restaurants. I'm pretty excited.
