Monday m

arked the one month anniversary of our marriage! We know this isn't a long time, but we like to look for things to celebrate. So, on Sunday after James got off from work, he bought me red daisies!!! I LOVE daisies! Well, I love any flower that's not a red rose (unless if it's Valentine's Day, of course). They are beautiful, and I was very thankful for the surprise. I had ventured out and bought picture frames for my contribution. I love pictures; I think it gives a "home" touch to anything. When I go to other people homes, I love looking at their family portraits and seeing how happy everyone is. I think it really gives life to our apartment.
Also on Sunday a group of us ventured to Ohio to visit the store Ikea. I had never been to Ikea, so I was pretty excited (excited being an understatement!) James slept on the way there, and I was able to talk with Susan and Kristen. James and I had a goal to find shelves. We agreed that our apartment was lacking shelves since we had all of those new picture frames. When I walked into Ikea, I was in awe! I think I wanted everything in the store. Every time I saw a shelf, I wanted that particular one. We finally saw this white shelf that had some kind of drawer that you open up. James and I instantly fell in love with it!! We decided that we wanted that one in the color red. James and I also got a new lamp, comforter, and two more little shelves to put up. I love the store, and I can't wait to go back. If you have never been to an Ikea store, I would definitely recommend going!!!
School is starting soon, so prayers are needed. I have heard over and over again how hard the junior year of nursing school is. I dread it. My personality has always proved to be that I'm afraid of the unknown. I don't dread the classes themselves; I dread the uncertainty. I would appreciate any prayers to help me calm down and relax!!!! I must realize that God is in control, and He will get me through anything.
everytime i think about ikea, i think of the movie 500 days of summer. lol. congrats on one month down! now you only have....the rest of your lives to go! hahaha. as for school, i know you will be fine. you're a great student, and you always find a way to make things work. but if you ever need a break from nursing, dont be afraid to give me a call!

I agree, totally, with Jackie. You will do fine in school. Your marriage is also an "unknown" and look how well you're doing!! You've already got a month under your belt. Nice post. xoxo Susan
