This particular winter in Indiana has been a rough one. We've encountered a lot of snow and very cold temperatures. The coldest I saw it get in our Jeep was -20. Last Friday, we had some pretty decent temperatures. We decided it was finally time to get out just to go to the park.
There's a pretty nice park across the street at a church. With Jubilee in the backpack and Katie in the stroller, we had a nice walk across our apartment complex. It was a beautiful day. Once we got to the park the girls did what I call a "divide and conquer". Katie ran one way, and Jubilee ran the other. They were just as eager as we were to get out. They had a lot of fun, especially going down the slides. Last year they were still a little too young to go down a slide independently, but they did a great job last week.
While we were there, another family came to the park. They had a little girl that was probably 2-3 years old. Jubilee ran up to her with her arms extended to give a hug and exclaimed, "HANNAH!". I had a lot of fun explaining who Hannah was to that family.lol.
Like always, the weather here is hit or miss. We're still having days in the 20s. Hopefully, we'll have better weather so we can get out more often!
