The girls are here! They came on Good Friday (April 6)approximately one hour apart. The labor lasted a little over twenty-four hours, and I pushed for approximately four hours. Luckily, the girls arrived here with no problems. Katherine, Baby A, weighed 5 pounds and 10 ounces, and she was nineteen inches long. Jubilee, Baby B, weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces, and she was nineteen and a half inches long. While looking at the two of them sleeping peacefully next to each other, it is hard to imagine the two of them fitting inside me!
We have enjoyed every moment with them! So far they have been very good sleepers and eaters! Last night they even let us sleep for four hours! They do look very similar, but James and I have noticed some differences between them. Katherine has lines underneath her eyes (like James used to), and Jubilee has cute chubby cheeks! James and I have made a great team taking care of them. We are very blessed to have these girls, and we are enjoying watching them grow!
