Baby and Apartment!

Well, the wedding is only 11 days away, but it still hasn't hit me yet! I think the past week has been filled so much that I haven't had time to relax and think. I moved into the apartment almost two weeks ago. That was pretty chaotic. On Saturday I became an Aunt!

The apartment move in was pretty crazy. Since James insisted on having no white walls, we painted every room (with Kristen's assistance). The apartment is pretty small, but it's perfect for a young, cheap married couple. We initially called it the "Hobbit Shelter"(very lovingly) because it was in the basement with one window (like a bomb shelter), and you had to be a hobbit to fit in. However, upon us actually being in the apartment, we realized that it was the perfect size for us. People keep asking, "Are you sure it will fit?", but the reply is always, "It's not THAT small!!". My niece, Madelynn, was born on Saturday. Her due date made me pretty nervous! She was due on June 20, which made the wedding not even two weeks afterwards. Knowing that babies come whenever they want, I was so worried that my brother, Matt, would be at the hospital the day of the wedding! One day before she was born Shannon (the mom) had gone to the doctor, and they told her that she was 0 dilated and 0 effaced. They were going to wait one more week to make an appointment to induce, which would make Madelynn born the week of the wedding! After a very worried talk with Matt, I decided to pray and hope that by some miracle Shannon would go into labor.lol. The next morning at 7 AM I got a phone call saying that she had gone into labor!! Not only was she born before the wedding, but I was already in Indianapolis! I was able to be there when she had her! God provides!!!! The next time I write, James and I will be married!!!
